It is Palm Sunday, so both lectionaries call for Matthew’s version of the Triumphal Entry. The Narrative Lectionary is only focused on Matthew 21:1-17. The Revised Common Lectionary calls for either the entire passion week in Matthew 26:14-27:66 or Matthew 27:11-54.

The Narrative Lectionary takes us to the parable that Jesus tells following the encounter with the rich young ruler where a vineyard owner pays all the workers the same wage, no matter how long they had worked in the field.
