God’s Mission | Visual Resources for Both Lectionaries on June 18, 2023

This post offers visual resources for the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary for June 18, 2023. The RCL take us to Abram, Sarai and the guests at Mamre in Genesis 18, the children of Israel at the base of Mt. Sinai in Exodus 19, Paul’s portrait of peace with God in Romans 5, and Jesus’ sending of the twelve on a mission in Matthew 10. All of these texts allow us space to explore God’s mission of promise of peace and wholeness for the world. The NL continues a four-part series on Isaiah.
