Don’t Be Afraid | Visual Resources for Both Lectionaries on June 25, 2023

This post offers visual resources for the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary for June 25, 2023. The RCL take us to the story of Hagar when she leaves Ishmael to die in Genesis 21, Paul’s promise of new life in the death and resurrection of baptism in Romans 6, and the final section Jesus’ sending of the twelve on a mission in Matthew 10. All of these texts encourage us to have no fear in the face of difficulty. The NL continues a three-part series on 2 Peter.
