Christ is Our Rest | Visual Resources for Both Lectionaries on August 27, 2023

Visual Resources for the Lectionaries
This post offers visual resources for the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary for August 27, 2023. The RCL enters the story of Moses in the book of Exodus. The Gospel is Matthew 16:13-20 where Peter proclaims that Jesus is the Christ. The NL continues a three week series on Sabbath by looking at the seventh day of creation in Genesis. It pairs this with John 15:9-15 for the Gospel reading.
