This is the list of the descendants of Adam. When God created humankind, he made them in the likeness of God. Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them “Humankind” when they were created.

After Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden the story gets worse. Each generation of their offspring leads to every increasing violence. Eventually God allows chaos to crash back in on the land and a flood washes the earth clean. God rescues Noah’s family and a remnant of all land and sky animals.
