Acts Part 8: Paul the Prisoner
In this eighth and final video in A Cartoonist’s Guide to Acts we walk through Acts 21-28. The Apostle Paul returns to Jerusalem and the crowd wants to stone him to death. The Roman soldiers intervene and save his life. Paul is taken to Caesarea and held as a prisoner for two years. He knows that if he returns to Jerusalem for a trial the religious leaders will ambush and kill him on the way. His only hope is to appeal to the emperor in Rome. the final pages of Acts tell the story of his shipwreck on the island of Malta and his final speech from house arrest in Rome.
The story leaves open the question to the reader, “How will you continue this story?”
