Palm Sunday | Visual Resources for Both Lectionaries for April 2, 2023
This post offers visual resources for the Revised Common Lectionary and the Narrative Lectionary for April 2, 2023. It is Palm Sunday, so both lectionaries call for Matthew’s version of the Triumphal Entry. The Narrative Lectionary is only focused on Matthew 21:1-17. The Revised Common Lectionary is focused on Matthew 21:1-11 for the Triumphal Entry, but then calls for either the entire passion week in Matthew 26:14-27:66 or only Matthew 27:11-54.
There will be no distinction between lectionaries in this post. Below is A Cartoonist’s Guide to Holy Week from Matthew.
