What is the Narrative Lectionary?

The Narrative Lectionary is a preaching schedule produced by the folks at Luther Seminary and Working Preacher. It guides congregations through the Bible from Genesis through the narrative arc of the Hebrew Bible in the Fall of the year and leads to the Gospel beginning at Christmas until Easter. It spans a four-year cycle, offering a chance to preach through each Gospel every four years.

I have preached through this cycle one full time and am quickly approaching a second. Since I create visual material every time I preach, I have accumulated a lot of visual material over the years. These pages exist to offer you an index to all the resources I’ve created. You are free to download them and use them to aid in your own preaching, teaching, and study of scripture.
